Grateful Hands and Hearts

grateful handsWe wish you and your family a very safe, and Happy Thanksgiving!

We are so grateful to the many patients and families we have had the honor of serving over the last 90 years. Our patients are a continual source of inspiration for us - to provide better care and to do our best each and every day. Our generous community never ceases to amaze us. They give so much to the hospital, both in time and donations.

As a hospital we are truly blessed, and will stay dedicated to putting “The Child First and Always” - both in the hospital and in our communities.

Last month, we asked our readers to write in and share what Primary Children’s means to them. We felt like this season of gratitude was the perfect opportunity to share some of their thoughts:

“I am so grateful for the wonderful care my daughter received at Primary Children’s Hospital. Without you she wouldn’t be here today. I am so grateful for the support we were shown as we were going through this hard time in our life. The spirit is so strong when you walk through the hospital, it’s so amazing. Thank you to everyone who has helped our daughter with her recovery and our family as well.”

- Kelli Cronin, Great Falls, MT

”Not only has Primary Children’s changed the life of my niece and nephew, it has changed my life. Seeing the care and support they gave to my sister’s family and the service they provided to my niece and nephew, I know we are blessed as a family to have the opportunity to have the care from Primary Children’s Medical Center.”

- Anette Ship, Chubbuck, ID

“Primary Children’s gave me my daughter back. I will forever be grateful to this wonderful hospital’s staff. The doctors, nurses, clinicians, and others are nothing short of amazing. This hospital will forever have a special part of our heart. You guys and girls are the best!”

- Ingunn Ternsten, Provo, Utah

“My son was born with severe heart defects and has had several open heart surgeries at Primary Children’s. I have never had a negative encounter with any staff member. They are always professional, honest and caring. The facility is top notch and I wouldn’t take my child any where else. The Child First and Always has become more than just a motto I believe that Primary Childrens truly lives by this. I am so grateful.”

- Amie Hollis, Paul, ID

“Primary Children’s means exceptional care. The nurses are so great. The doctors are great, and caring. The surgeons are the best in Utah. We are so grateful for the amazing care my son received while at the hospital.

- Brandi Synder, Sandy, UT

“Words can’t express what Primary Children’s means to me …. my child’s life :) He is a cancer surviver thanks to the wonderful providers at Primary Children’s! Thank you times a million!!!

- Kelly Gaustad, Missoula, MT

“Though it can be a super scary rollercoaster ride at times, Primary Children’s and its staff are right there holding us tight and helping us along. Primary Children’s staff are like a warm snugly blanket on a snowy winter night, they help you feel secure and safe in all the chaos going on!

- Lacey Anderson, Salt Lake City, UT
