Story Lines: A Grateful Heart

I am one of the Critical Care and Pulmonary physicians at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center and am part of the Medical Group. My son, who was born with a congenital heart disease, has been in the hospital at Primary Children’s for the last six months awaiting a heart transplant. I have been so impressed with not only the care that we have received but with how many employees of Intermountain Healthcare (both nurses and administrators) have practiced what we preach: Caring! My appreciation to all of them needs to be published because it was an amazing effort from everyone involved and an amazing story as well.
