The annual Surgical Services open house is this Saturday, November 17, from 9:30 am to noon. The event allows patients, their families and anyone else who is curious, to see what happens behind the surgical doors.

Children will be able to dress up in surgical gowns, masks and gloves, perform a mock operation, work with some of the equipment and even touch a cow’s heart.

The open house begins on the south end of the second floor, at Primary Children’s Medical Center main hospital.
